Summer 2011
Already close to our peek season in Jasper. Our beautiful stallion Double Diamond Pacha Ulixes has already bred 3 mares. He is developping into an outstanding Canadian Stallion. The picture on the home page, it is him playing with Uri, his pasture friend. Lost of colts training happening at our stables in Jasper over the last 2 months, we must have at least 8 canadian colts and 2 crosses on the go.
Fall 2010
An other busy outfitting season over in Jasper with Skyline Trail Rides, now it is time to enjoy some good time at home and with the Canadians. We plan to work with a few horses this winter and start their training under saddle . Their progress will be updated on their own page.
Summer 2010- photos gallery
Skyline Trail Rides stables have been opened since May 15. Most of our horses are now either in Jasper or enjoying green grass outside of our ranch. All our broodmares are off this summer and we decided to put some for sale! Please contact us if you are looking to purchase good quality broodmares.
We have been working with young colts (Mercure, Petite, Roxie, Robson and Heureuse) that were started last summer and had the winter off. They are all doing good. New pictures to come soon. We dont have all our Canadians horses advertised on this website, please contact us for any special request.
Enjoy the summer!
p.s JULY 9, 2010. With lots of sadness, we would like to share the lost of our amazing stallion BRG Prince D-Cromwell. He will be missed, thank you Cromwell for all the exceptional offspring you gave us over the last 10 years.
WINTER 2010
Winter time means vacation time for our horses. Some of them started a new career last summer as trail guide horses and some as a backcountry guest horse in the scenic Jasper National Park. Those ones spend winter months, with other guest horses on a 3000 acres community pasture near Brule, it is freedom for 6 months!
The weather has been nice and lacking snow. We were able to work some horses under harness & sleigh in December and January but now the snow is gone.
DDD Cromwell Winston, our only foal from last spring is developing into a wonderful yearling. He definitely shows lots of the mare's lightness (Temis Chantecler Kassie) and the calm disposition of our Stallion D-Cromwell. We are not expecting any foal in 2010.
Enjoy some winter pictures .
SUMMER 2009
We have been busy with our trail riding business and backcountry Shovel Pass Lodge in Jasper. Lots of tourists in the rockies this summer.
We decided to start and use a bunch of our Canadians for our outfitting business in Jasper. Heureuse and Hermine , 2 of our broodmares , are now started under saddle and are horseback guide horses. We also have our ex stallion Mercure, Roxie, Petite and Reine as new comers in our horse string. They are all doing a wonderful job and get lots of attention from the tourists.
Foaling season was slow, only one foal from our beautiful mare Temis Chanteclerc Kassy. Kiri Pacha offspring are growing like crazy and are just stunning. Lots of good prospect within that group. Here are a mix of photos from the summer.
